Lotus Seaview Restaurant

This has been a highlight of our Stay in Candi Dasa, the food was so well balanced and flavourful, with so many delicious sounding options to choose from. We settled on Ceviche, nasi Campur, octopus, calamari and papaya Salad each one was wonderful. Meanwhile the breeze from the sea kept us cool, and the decor was relaxed but beautiful, as we looked out at the bay.

Loved the atmosphere, we sat under the tree over looking the ocean and enjoyed the nice breeze on a hot Bali day. Delicious food and service. However Pineapple Pancake was raw in the middle but I was already belly full so didn't ask for replacement. Highly recommend this place.

Its a great find right in the middle of Candidasa.. beautiful location, great interiors, fast service and very fresh food ...! Highly recommend if you're looking for a place for breakfast, lunch and dinner. If your looking for good meals look for Lotus Seaview.

It’s a very beautifully done place and we really enjoyed the food here. Went back for round two pizza from there wood burning pizza oven. Plus a nice view I was a bit concerned about the safety of the fish in the pond outside due to the lack of water and went back to speak with staff about this couple times, and asked them to pass it on to the owner too :( Hope it’s being given the care it deserves!

After experiencing some disappointing food at a high price in our hotel we decided to try this restaurant. When we arrived the place was empty which would usually make me very nervous, however we decided to just try our luck. The staff were very nice and the restaurant is actually really nice too with a great decor and a clean environment. The staff were helpful with pointing out some of their popular meals and it was hard to decide what to have. So we tried the appetizers: lumpia (spring rolls) and baby octopus. Mains: bebek betutu and Rijstaffel Dessert: Dadar gulung pisang Beverages: Bintang bir, orange squash (no sugar), Mixed juice (again no sugar) and ginger tea. All of the food was delicious and had been a much better meal than at our resort. The appetizers were really good but the best was the baby occy for sure. The lumpia were delicious however I didn't quite understand the accompanying sauce. I usually have lumpia with a chilli sauce or a sweet and sour, this was like a sweet tomato sauce and it was a bit weird. The rijstaffel was excellent with a great mix of Indonesian food, it's like a tasting plate if you will. The bebek betutu was well enjoyed by my partner and it was a good sized duck, nothing like the undersized, sickly looking bird that we tried in Ubud. It was a smoky flavour too, to notch. I love a good dadar gulung and find it hard not to have it wherever I go. I haven't tried it with banana so it was doing to be interesting. It was a good flavour but I'll stick to the regular Dadar gulung without the banana. If I'm ever back in Candidasa I now know a great restaurant to go to for excellent food and great staff
